Tennant Creek – Rock and Country Series by Julie Dynan –  An original acrylic landscape painting.

The Pebbles in Tenant Creek are natural rock formations surrounded by myth and legend from the Warumunga Aboriginal people related to Devils Marbles and are a sacred site where a number of dancing and healing rituals have been carried out.

There is a lot of detail in this painting particularly in the rock work.  It is beautiful and tactile. I spent many hours on this landscape to bring it to life.  We are so very fortunate in Australia to have so many amazing wonderful Australian landscapes steeped in a rich cultural heritage. I love to paint artworks with colourful rocky cliff faces with their lovely earthy ochre sandstone colours which are so unique to Australia.

I have used palette knives & brush work to create this large artwork which would look amazing on any wall and be quiet the statement piece.

This artwork does not come with an external frame.

An original acrylic painting which comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Signature on front & back of artwork and will be packaged securely to arrive safely to your door.
