Additional Information

Terra Firma is my first large Landscape painting. It is a bright and energetic piece with many areas of visual interest. I really enjoyed the journey of painting this and responding to my new environment. This is a hill which I have been spending some time gazing upon since we moved, as it is right outside our back door.This is where the sun sets every afternoon, drawing me out there to soak it all in. I tired not to be too literal in my storytelling/painting and I was loosely influenced by Fred Williams’ Upwey landscape of 1965.

Painted in a combination of acrylic paints and inktense blocks and Sennilier Oil paint sticks.This artwork had been created on quality 12oz unstretched canvas meaning that it would be posted to you rolled in a tube. Ready for you to have it framed to your taste or stretched if you desire.
