The Artist’s Way captures the breathtaking forest trail leading to the Artist’s Pool in Tasmania’s Cradle Mountain wilderness. Lined with vivid green moss and strewn with the rich, rust-toned leaves of the deciduous beech (fagus), the path winds through a hushed landscape where snowmelt trickles underfoot. A canopy of bare winter branches arches overhead, enclosing the trail in mystery. This work speaks to the quiet rhythm of seasonal change and creative pilgrimage—an ode to place, presence, and the beauty of the journey.

This work was featured in the 2025 Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize Exhibition of Finalists and the artist’s 2025 solo exhibition, Untamed Tasmania – The Wild Nature Heart of Our Island, held at the prestigious Wilderness Gallery in Cradle Mountain.
