This artwork was inspired by a swimming pool in the Kimberley area that we reached after hiking up over rocks. An idea spot with a Boab tree featuring at the top of the rock ridge where the waterfall began.

We swam and relaxed in that cool green water after our tiring walk, before descending down again.

I found it so peaceful and surrounded by beauty that I wanted to capture that feeling of contentment of the pool with the lone Boab tree.
