‘The Courtyard’ by Julie Dynan – An original acrylic painting.

Gilardi House is situated in Mexico City and this beautiful home and courtyard was designed by internationally acclaimed architect Luis Barragan. I am intrigued by the symmetry and colours and play on shadows. The magenta pink and purple concrete walls offset by the stark white and then the natural stone. The sculpture of the stone balls mixed with steel to stop them from moving. The entire courtyard is entrancing.
