Inspired by Mandy’s 2022 travels to the tip of Cape York in Queensland and her journey back home along the beautiful Queensland coastline.

It seems to me like almost every coastal town in Queensland has an Esplanade with a georgous view worth admiring. However, I absolutely fell in love with the view looking out toward Magnetic Island through the palm trees on the esplanade in Townsville … add a delicious gelato icecream and the soft warmth of a late Winter afternoon in Queensland and this view imprinted in my memory as a place for soothing the soul and relaxing.
