“The Heart of It” – by Sharon Rynehart

What is the fundamental integral part of your ‘being’ that drives you…makes you ‘you’? Is it your heart, or mind, or both? The heart is our inner sanctum that breathes life yes, but when faced with fear, doubt, confusion, and decisions to make it’s also what wins out sometimes over our minds! Sadly, at the heart of it our hearts can sometimes be flawed. What rings true for us might not be true for someone else. We follow our hearts without thinking of consequences and without processing ‘reason’ with our minds. So we need both. Hearts and minds together…an open heart willing to listen to a responsive mind; to listen to others, to understand empathy, nurture kindness, inspire hope, to spread love and light. This expressive and textured seascape, full of light and hope, captured my heart in it’s creation, and got me reflecting on the thoughts above. After all, there’s nowhere that fills my heart more than the coast at sunrise or sunset.

Framed in beautiful handcrafted solid timber, this pretty and emotive artwork is satin varnished and comes with a COA.
