Artist Statement: Paintings tell stories. This painting is an abstract landscape about the places we have gone in our lives that have special memories and where we have been with people we love

This work is Acrylic 75cm X 150cm on Fine Acid Free 100% Indian Cotton , signed on the front and sent with an artist CV and certificate of authenticity. The work is sent unstretched in a roll (this is taken into account in the price) ready for stretching and framing if you wish to add an exterior frame.

The work is sealed with a conservationist Gloss Varnish, the conservationist quality varnish is essential as it doesn’t yellow or crack with light and age and means that you can wipe the painting free of dust with a damp cloth if you need to which will also preserve its life. The painting continues on the sides (as seen in studio image) so if you hang the painting stretched without an exterior frame it will still look lovely from any angle (no ugly white sides).
I hang all work in my home without exterior frames because I feel that hanging without an exterior frame allows the paintings to continue beyond its borders. However I have included images with frames so you can see what the work looks like framed. Please make sure to measure your space. I try to keep photos accurate but they are an example only.
If you decide to add an exterior frame I suggest choosing a frame that matches your home rather than trying to match the painting as I have in the images. ie if you have natural timber choose a timber frame, if you have a lot of white trim choose a white frame.

All work over 100cm is sent via Pack and Send and under 100cm is sent via Australia Post Express
