Artist Statement: There is platypus living in the lake where we walk. It makes us smile to think of them hiding from the people and houses while we walk past.

This work is a once off original art work that will not be available at any time for reproduction printing. I do not make my work available for reproduction prints as reproduction prints have no value and decrease the value of the original work which is not fair to the original buyer.

Works on paper are an excellent way to collect art that will grow in value but are not quite as expensive as works on canvas (unless or course they were done by Leonardo or Michelangelo).

This work is 90cm X 120cm from edge to edge. it is signed on the front and sent with a certificate of authenticity. It is sent unframed in a roll and will need to be framed to hang. With drawings it is best but not essential to hang them with mounting board around the edges as in the images shown. If you add mounting board please make sure to add the width of the mounting board to the size when measuring for space. I recommend matching the frame around the work to your home rather than to the painting ie if you have a lot of timber use a timber frame. But I have given images with different frames for you to see.

Please you MUST !!!! measure your space. This is a large work over 1m wide. I try to make images as representative as possible but these are not a replacement for measuring your own space. When measuring your space make sure to allow for mounting board if you intend to use it.

The work will be sent via Australia Post  in a sturdy tube.
