The Prom recognises the natural beauty of the coast. This piece was painted at Tidal River, Wilson’s Promontory, in Victoria. The huge boulders and rocks are composed of granite and heavy with iron. The texture is rough in places and smooth in others. In this piece I used a wide palette knife and sweeping gestures to capture the organic shapes and feeling exuded by these giants of natures. Each of these boulders are unique in their beauty.

The sides are painted in a wrap around style which makes framing optional. The surface is protected with varnish. Ready to hang.

Signed on the front and back with a certificate of authenticity.
