The River Lett at Hartley – Impressionist Painting by Christine Hyde – depicting a flowing river, river banks and water splashing on rocks. The River Lett is a Tributary of The Cox’s River just west of the Blue Mountains of New South Wales.
It is a beautiful natural waterway and walkers can be lucky enough to spy the endangered and elusive Platypus. The area of the river I have painted is known as “Hyde Park Reserve” which, given that is my surname, is somewhat special to me. It depicts the running river splashing and flowing through and against the banks and river rocks.
It has been lovingly hand-painted onto a smooth deep edged timber art panel. I have purposely left the sides exposed in keeping with the nature theme.

It is ready to hang with gallery rings and wire at the rear. It will be delivered with my Artist Certificate of Authenticity.
