Edvard Munch did it first. based His scream was supposedly an actual experience of a scream piercing through nature while he was on a walk. This scream is from a tree. My version of a tree reacting to continued deforestation. My aim in photography is to highlight  trees’ personalities and therefore introduce them to people as beings worthy of being protected. I have edited the bark to show the trees’ emotion and mystery and help relay their messages of desperation and hope.

The photo is a giclee print on archival-standard Hahnemuhle Hemp paper. For obvious reasons I wanted to use wood-free paper. Hemp fibres grow quickly, require no pesticides and need little water for cultivation.

I also offer the photographs frame-free in sizes A3 (29.7 by 42 cm) for $290 and A2 (42 by 59.4 cm) for $330.
