The Storm is an Artist by Olga Megele. I sort of crave the great outdoors. I remember so well our recent trip to Gippsland, my face pressed against the glass looking out. The vast expanse of this beautiful country opened up to us. The sky is magic, alive. Pregnant with possibilities. Is there a storm brewing? I am calm, yet unsettled.
This painting is one of a developing series concerned with our current situation aligned with the magic of the sky.

This piece is painted with layers to create texture. Wide sweeps of the palette knife have been used. Quality Acrylic on 380 gsm Canvas. 3D elements have been provided with the addition of shaped canvas and textured paint. Please see details in photo description. The surface has been covered with a protective layer of acrylic sealer which has enhanced the beautiful colours
