This impressionist painting was inspired by the Lake MacDonald where I often wander at the edge of the lake photographing birds.  It is done with many acrylic layers and finished off with a palette knife for the foreground,  It could be anywhere and has a calm and tranquil feel to it.  The colours are very harmonious and it would suit any room.  The two canvases are 75cm x 75cm each making up a lovely diptych of 150cm x 60cm.
