The Three Sisters by Valerie Eugarde:- this is my impression of The Three Sisters, wonderful rock creation in the Blue Mountains.

According to aboriginal legend it represents three sisters, Meehni, Wimlah and Gunnedo who lived in the Jamison valley as members of the Katoomba tribe, they had fallen in love with 3 brothers of the Nepean tribe yet tribal laws forbid them to marry, the brothers were not happy to accept this so they decided to capture the three sisters causing a fierce tribal battle, as the lives of the girls were in danger a witch doctor from the Katoomba tribe turned the three sisters into stone to protect them.
