The Three Sisters (triptych) by Bianca Gardiner-Dodd
Each piece is 2m x 1m each (3m x 2m together)

“Three sisters is an important story of caution and warning but also of family connection.
It’s a story from the Byron Bay area near where I live and it has a rock formation that reflects a well known story. Its a story of a girl who went out swimming and got into trouble and her two sisters on the shore went into to help her but they all perished. The three girls are represented as the rock formations in the water and as the larger white dots in this work. I did this work in monochrome to share a sombre story and show the gravity and depth of it but also the depth of their love for each other. Family connection is so powerful and so strong. Through this story, we continue to grow and continue to learn from each other.”
