This Unseen features the Currawong, a striking bird often linked to themes of magic, divination and prophecy, echoing its kinship with the crow and magpie. Though cloaked in dark plumage, the Currawong, like many blackbirds, is frequently misunderstood. It defies conventional beauty — not vibrant or melodious, but instead, powerful, enigmatic, and true to its nature.

Those drawn to blackbirds like the Currawong need not apologise for their pull toward the mysterious and the unseen.
