A river of light flows through abstract terrain in this visionary landscape. Layered forms—part forest, part memory—evoke a dreamlike passage through colour, gesture, and mood. The title suggests a sacred or psychic distance: these waters may be longed for, but not possessed. The painting’s sinuous central current, rendered in gliding strokes of aquamarine, lavender, and white, leads the eye into a spectral corridor of unfixed time and space. The brushwork evokes motion, memory, and the threshold state between perception and revelation.

As with much of my practice, this piece treats landscape not as scenery but as spiritual encounter: nature as a manifestation of the unreachable divine. The painting merges the natural world with interior states, treating the landscape as a site of spiritual reflection and poetic myth.
