‘The Yellow House’ Limited edition print (25)

This is a print of a painting of mine in the Art Deco series. This building is very similar to buildings I lived in, in Bondi back in the 70’s. Of course I have hyped up the colour and have placed a figure from Edward Hopper’s famous painting ‘Nighthawks’ oil on canvas painted in 1942. I feel this gave the painting a lineage to art history and the work of Hopper and Whiteley who worked in the Yellow House in Potts Point where artists of the day came to share and grow their creative projects. I like this print because when looking at it you can almost smell the stale cockroach and dust spray that inhabits a lot of these old building, buildings I love to look at. The original painting lives in Hamburg Germany this print is 5/25 and they look beautiful framed and bring art into your life.

The print size including white border is 69.5cmH x 54cmW

This print comes rolled in a tube.
