Those Pink Roads and White Fences by Helen Stephens

Professional quality acrylic paints, mediums and varnishes with a professional quality stretched canvas and wrap around painted gallery edges. This artwork has a Victorian Ash box frame.

So pleased to offer this large, modern, Australian landscape for sale online in my gallery shop here. I have generations of family who have lived and worked farms in Queensland and NSW and I think that is inherently a large part of my feeling for the land and inspiration for my art.

This particular acrylic artwork is inspired by my regular visits up country to visit my family who have acreage in the Lockyer Valley. Drive along the highway from Brisbane to Toowoomba and you will see the pink roads and white fences, winding the way out to properties where horses are bred and trained instead of the old dairy farms….. more horses than cattle now.

Large pine trees, fig and mango trees and ploughed paddocks closer to the river, fill the senses with the freedom of open countryside.

I hope you love this one too!

Colourful, bright and original, bringing some country style into that special room at home.
