I love embroidery. I’ve wanted to combine my stitching and painting together for awhile, and this is the first piece, which is one of many I’m working towards.

I love my still love style of pieces and stitching flora is a bit of a passion of mine, so they complimented each other beautifully.

I liked the idea of the threads of our life woven together, and on the act of weaving I’m recording a moment of my own life, hence the play on words, threads of life.
