INFLUENCE:

The ocean is always changing according to the tidal flow, all the inspiration I needed to complete this Diptych (two painting set.)

Living by the ocean, the TIDAL FLOW is one of many wonderful inspirational moments witnessed from the shoreline. Watching the tide creep in slowly only to recede back again giving constant movement and flow within this vast expanse of salty water.

TIDAL FLOW is my interpretation of such a constant event. Shallow waters becoming deep chasms enveloping much sand and marine life.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Quality acrylics used giving long lasting rich pigmentation/lustre. Designed on acid free environmentally unbleached cotton duck, triple coated with universal primer, gallery style folded corners, heavy duty stretcher bars to reduce warping. Protective Matte Varnish applied to protect work. As with any “Poured Acrylic” work, the colour has extended down each side of the canvas. The surface of the painting has a slight textured surface encouraging the viewer to touch and feel the art. Each painting measures 76 x 76cm.
