Tide by Ellen McKenna – I wanted to explore using a coloured background when I set out to paint Tide. I was also experimenting with adding texture and layers within the background whilst still creating movement with my organic shapes.

Tide is an original artwork created with Acrylic Paint on Cotton Canvas, which is stretched over an internal wood frame. It has been finished with a satin varnish with UV Protection and is ready to be hung.
