I am selling a few of my older works as part of my “cost of living” sale. Work this size is normally $3400 on Bluethumb and $5000 in galleries.

Artist Statement: This work is about spending time with family and friends and those gone but who are still with us. My family is noisy, we talk all over each other, usually my son gets up and starts playing jazz on the piano, the little children try to help him. We cook too much food and there is lots of cleaning up but its blissful. Blissful and busy and chaotic and those times are the best times.

This work is Oil and Acrylic on 122 X 183 Fine Belgian Linen, signed on the front and sent with an artist cv and certificate of authenticity

All my work is sealed with a conservationist Gloss Varnish and is painted on Fine Belgian Linen (except for a few on canvas). Linen provides a much better finish for the paint and is longer lasting than canvas so gives the painting posterity and the conservationist quality varnish means that you can wipe the painting free of dust if you need to which will also preserve its life.

All works are painted on the sides so if hung stretched without an exterior frame it will still look lovely from any angle (no ugly white sides). The work is sent Unstretched (this is taken into account in the price) in a roll ready for stretching and framing (but an exterior frame isn’t necessary unless you want it)
Stretching can be arranged through art lovers if you need assistance
