With a love of organic forms found in nature this artwork has been inspired by the topographic lines found on weather maps and radar images. Mark making and line making techniques have been simultaneously repeated with a delicate line approximately 2-3mm wide. The result is a natural organic pattern that forms a fingerprint. Each fingerprint is unique like our own. The movement of the lines and the suggestion of life is captured through time. A topographic line lives and moves in time as we continue to live and breathe on this earth.
