Translucent Yellow Light by Estelle Asmodelle – This artwork is about creating a painting that has translucent properties with light. The idea is that our emotions have a similar property, they are not fixed and impenetrable but change depending on our perspective. The work is in the style of abstract expressionism.

This artwork is painted on professional-grade canvas stretched and sealed with varnish. The canvas is 95 cm in width by 153 cm in height. The painting wraps around the sides of the stretcher, so the sides are painted in the same style as the surface. It does not need a frame, but framing options are available. The painting’s translucent properties are difficult to photograph as it had pearl white synthetic polymer paint that catches the light and looks different from different angles but hopefully the photos give the potential collector and idea.
