The trees are Karris which are native to the south west of Western Australia. I was inspired by the colorful foliage which contrasted against the distant blues. A textured landscape spontaneously painted using a combination of brush and palette knife.

Artist quality oil paint on professional grade stretched canvas. The sides are 4cm thick and are painted consistent with the color scheme of the subject.
