Turner’s Beach Impression by Anne Strambi

This oil painting was inspired by Turner’s Beach at Yamba, NSW, looking out towards the break wall. The path is fringed by pandanus trees so I chose to put one in my painting, though I have used some artistic licence to change the composition a little. The beach is a favourite spot for surfers as there are usually good waves breaking. One of my favourite places to walk is along the break wall where I sometimes see dolphins. This painting is ready to hang with a recycled timber frame, measuring 52 cm x 26 cm. The unframed artwork measures 51 cm x 20 cm.
