“TV WORLD” by Elisha Mcguckin –  my daughter yelled out when I said I needed to name this painting.

The perfect title for this piece.

This tv was the first that I had in my room as a child, I recall watching Saturday morning Rage on it, it stopped working and sat on the verandah of my childhood home where I spent my school years creating art.

The TV now sits in my home studio, and was the perfect subject to paint, the reflections in the screen capture my studio before it was recently gutted and lined.

Touching on my own personal collections and notes on the walls.

The geometric shapes and colours in the background reflective of the times.

The unique fluoro frame has been professionally created to fit the canvas and makes brings the painting to life, please if you would like additional photos send through any requests.
