Überleitung by Estelle Asmodelle – the canvas is 152.4 cm (W) x 76.2 cm (H). The sides are painted white so no frame is required. The painting was created with Synthetic Polymer on a professional stretcher.

This work is about transition, moving between two forms. This is not a landscape but an experience and an emotional transition. The German word for ‘Transition is Überleitung and I was listening to a German man talking about the transition at the time I painted it. This is an emotional reflection of that dream. Painted in the style of abstract expressionism. This work was created on the 29th day of November 2020.
