In this landscape, the sensuous and luminous qualities of the peony hovers above a dystopian landscape, now free from its earthly encumbrance, while its counterpart remains firmly rooted in its terrain, creating a surreal atmosphere.
This is a symbolic work exploring feelings living our lives of mindfulness while the world we live in full of pressure and uncertainty simultaneously creates this urge in one to escape.
