Vintage Chanel: by Brendan Walsh (ColdGhost)

Urban Art Pop mixed media Collage.

Posters from the streets, recycled into Artworks for the home.

This original artwork is made using Recycling Cardboard and paper collected off the Streets of Sydney and Melbourne & takes inspiration directly from Graffiti in City Laneways and billboards.

The main image is a Vintage Chanel Advertisement from the 80’s which was turned into a stencil then overlaid further with paint and paper to give a worn rustic street appearance.

The Artwork comes framed in black and ready to hang, and it is mounted under a clear acrylic sheet.

Some of my works are also inspired by Mexican Art and Outsider Art, and have Elements of Sacred Geometry & comment on modern society.
