Vintage Vessels 2: by Brendan Walsh (ColdGhost)

This abstract painting was directly influenced by my Vintage West German Pottery collection and stylistically takes inspiration from graffiti on street walls and weathered surfaces.

This original Mixed Media Artwork was created first by building up texture to the surface with layers of paper and paint..

This artwork continues my experimentation with using different techniques to apply the paint Sponges, rags, plastic, scrapers, paint pens, spray packs, stencils, pencils, in fact anything except brushes.

Inspired by my love of gestural abstraction and my obsession with using spray paint, this abstract artwork was created to give maximum impact to any room.

Insitu examples are not to scale.

The work comes on a quality canvas and is painted black around the edges and is ready to hang as is.
