Additional Information

Wading with Jabiru by Kim Rees – Originally started some time around 2018 – it didnt go as I’d imagined, so it sat, discarded on my wall of uncompleted works glaring and daring me to rekindle some interest in it, where it got the odd dab now and again. Fast forward to 2023 and finally finished. The original remains largely intact including the lower left water colour while the rest became overgrown with underwater plants. The top back ground has undergone several metamorphoses too, from the original stormy clouds. Extra petals, slightly textured have been left ‘underneath’ here and there as a nod to the original design and makes it slightly texturally more interesting.

Ready for final varnishing in a month to allow drying time which will bring the vibrancy of the colours out a little more. Initialled on the front, signed with a certificate of authenticity – ready to hang, sides are painted, framing unnecessary though optional. Insitus’ shown are as close to scale as possible. Please check your own measurements.
