“Walkabout” by Teresa Franks is an original painting ink airbrushed on MDF Board.

“Walkabout” encapsulates my journey through life and is called so because of my Aboriginal heritage and relationship to our great land. The flow and swirls of the colours as they dance around each other mimics the outback of Australia through its most basic qualities. One can feel the ebb and flow of the tides, as they travel around our shoreline, bringing in bounty with them. The wind then swirls and moves around this great burnt land as I walkabout in wonder of this amazing country.
