The walking stick palm can be found from Gympie in Queensland to Taree in New South Wales. Jacky found this one in Mount Tamborine, high up in the Gold Coast hinterland. while exploring with her children. Its unique leaf shape and draping flower spikes create a beautiful, shadowy silhouette amidst the wet tropical coastal landscapes in which it is found.

Walking Stick Palm Moment III has been created with a deep palette inspired by the shadowy depths of the forest understory in which the palm can be found, while the charcoal strokes create contrasting hard and soft line work.
