The meaning to the colours selected:

Pink is associated with architecture and is often used as a colour for buildings. Even though it does not hold any distinct meaning in Middle Eastern cultures, it is known to be mentally stimulating and calming. 

Purple represents wealth and prosperity.

White represent Purity.

In colour psychology, grey represent neutrality and balance.

I’ve included hints of deep beiges reflecting the dessert which makes up 99% of the Middle East and deep blue means safety and protection, and is symbolic of heaven, spirituality, and immortality.
