Wandering The Red Road is another in the Red Road series which has evolved from The Road Series with a colour palette taken from the Colours of Australia works, however this piece falls within the New Perspectives group, revisiting scenes with new eyes. The painting comes framed in a natural wood floating frame.

I really enjoy dark intense colours and these new road paintings are offering a great way to use the colours of Australia. This series has been inspired by the The Red Road penned by J K Ewers.

There used to be a red road running o’er the rise,
Dippping down to fernland and climbing to the skies;
And there among the tall trees the sleepy shadows lay,
and the forest birds were singing there the livelong day.

On all my work the colour continues around the sides of the piece, the paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
