Summer 2022 , we were in Queensland on a family gathering and after a breakfast on the waters edge in Caloundra we walked along the boardwalk enjoying the ocean views. At one particular place in the shallow waters, a mother was pushing her daughter on a surfboard to catch the small waves, and then rushing to get her and push for the next small waves, much to the child’s delight.
Painted from a photo I took. oils on cradled wood, 40 x 60cm sides painted black, ready to hang with a wire across the back, unframed.
