Water of Life by Estelle Asmodelle – A story of the “Water of Life” appears in the Eastern versions of the Alexander romance, which describes Alexander the Great and his servant crossing the Land of Darkness to find the restorative spring. It is an early version of the fountain of youth – water is life. This work is painted in the style of abstract expressionism.

This work is painted with synthetic polymer acrylic and the surface is a professional-grade 12 oz canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is designed for a stretcher 2.8 meters wide by 1.2 meters high.

This canvas is too big to ship mounted on a stretcher; not only is it logistically challenging to ship the work, but it has a higher chance of getting damaged. So what Art Lovers Australia and I are offering here is for the person who buys the work, it is shipped rolled up in a tube, and when it arrives, a framer will book a time with the buyer to come to your home or office and mount and hang the work for you. So essentially, it is like you are buying the work ready to hang, but the mounting and hanging stage occurs after the work is delivered. The framer’s fee is included in the cost of the artwork; there are no additional costs.
