We sit quietly together by Susanne Bianchi

Susanne often paints Australian flora and fauna to remind us that the Australian countryside is a mesmerizing sight, full of vibrant colors and natural beauty.

Glossy black-cockatoos are one of the more threatened species of cockatoo in Australia. These birds’ mate for life, with pairs maintaining their bond all year round. They are another important part of the tapestry of Australian life.

These lovely guys were created using acrylic paint on a piece of timber that I found when I visited the local Woodworkers Workshop.  They are happy for me to select pieces from their discarded bin, should I find a treasure!  Each piece of timber is unique as trees mature differently depending on where it grew and what environment it matures in.

The beautiful sunlit background was created with acrylic paint and my collage papers.

It painting is finished in a satin varnish, it has a felt bottom to protect your furniture and the whole piece of timber had been completely sealed.

Free standing, my Black Cockatoos are ready to make themselves at home in your house.

Comes with signed Certificate of Authenticity.
