Influence:

Returning home after a holiday or even just a long day out is something I really look forward to. For me, it conveys a sense of comfort and one of tranquilly and belonging. My haven seems to be saying, “Welcome Home.” This idea has been lovingly portrayed on canvas with partially opened buds alongside a majestic open bloom’s unfurled petals, revealing its pollen clad golden stamen. The delicate petals’ soft contours allude to a slight breeze carrying a delightful, fragrant aroma. All wrapped in both exotic and native camouflage as though to say, “We’ll protect you” as does my home giving me this same sense of protection.

Specifications:

Quality acrylics used giving long lasting rich pigmentation/lustre. Designed on acid free environmentally unbleached cotton duck, triple coated with universal primer, heavy duty stretcher bars were used to reduce warping.

Protective Matte Varnish applied. Signed by the artist and ready to hang.
