Urban Art Pop mixed media Painting

Posters from the streets, recycled into Artworks for the home.

This original artwork is made using Recycled Street Posters collected off the Streets of Sydney and Melbourne & takes inspiration directly from Graffiti in City Laneways and billboards.

The main Iconic Image of Kurt Cobain was then added and further overlaid with lots of layers of paint and street posters to give a worn rustic appearance. Text was added ‘What more could I say’ lyrics from a Nirvana song, then a pixelated stencil effect was spray painted over the image.

The Artwork comes framed in black and ready to hang, and it is mounted under a clear acrylic sheet.

Some of my works are also inspired by Mexican Art and Outsider Art, and have Elements of Sacred Geometry & comment on modern society.
