When I painted the original of When The Owl Sings, I had just lost both my parents barely six months apart and it was the catalyst for a figurative series featuring birds. They began appearing in my work during and after my Mum’s harrowing battle with MND and of these, the owl seems to be more prevalent – perhaps because it is seen as a harbinger of death. However as time begins to blunt the pain, I prefer to see the owl as a custodian of the wisdom and strength required to navigate my grief.

Limited Edition Print – 100 signed and numbered editions.

Signature is scanned into the print as per the original painting and edition number is noted on the back. Each Limited Edition Print comes with a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

Each print is reproduced using genuine Epson archival inks on professional grade poly-cotton archival acid free and OBA free canvas.
