About When Tomorrow Comes – Large Happy Painting Abstract Colourful

Layer upon layer of radiant colour beams from this stunning collectors painting. Immediately you can feel delight as you stare into the gaiety of each random stroke of paint in this abstract world.

Yet the irony is, this happy painting was created in a tumultuous week in Adelaide, South Australia. A week when lockdown was announced for a week after a suspected community transmission covid case.

For me that annoucement was just another run of bad news I’d received that week. Nothing was going right! I’d had fraudulent transactions on my credit card, equipment had broken down and I’d had cancelled appointments left right and centre.  I just wanted to scream at the world, okay that is enough for this week!

So this painting gave me an outlet to turn that negative energy into a positive. It was a reminder to me that bad days pass, that you can start afresh tomorrow.  Hence the title of the painting when tomorrow comes. Its all about just riding it out when nothing goes your way.

Painting is always a great therapy when ones emotions are heightened. With this painting, you can really see my frustration coming out with the messy chaotic spread of colour. But as the beauty of painting lightens my mood the layers of soft pastel hues take over the intensity. This provides a beautiful balance creating a happy joyful painting putting the past behind us.
