Additional Information

This piece was inspired by a visit to the abandoned village of Vatheia in the heart of the Mani Peninsula, Greece. Wandering around the dilapidated remnants of a once vibrant community, I stumbled upon a scene that transcended the decaying walls.

In the midst of the ruins, I felt an overwhelming sense of suspended time, as if the world beyond had ceased to exist. The play of light and shadows told tales of lives lived, dreams shared, and a collective history etched into the very fabric of the forsaken structures.

This piece is a celebration of the silent dialogue between past and present and through it, I invite viewers to embark on their own contemplative voyage, where the echoes of a bygone era resonate, and time stands still in the artistry of decay.
