Who ate the toadstool?: by Brendan Walsh (ColdGhost)

Abstract Graffiti painting created on canvas.

This artwork continues my experimentation using spray paint, brush work and liquid acrylics to explore memories and the edges of perception.

Making abstract art, I use many different techniques to apply the paint, sponges, rags, scrapers, paint pens, stencils, pencils, and fingers.

This beautiful artwork is an abstract statement piece and will give maximum impact to any room.

My art is directly influenced by graffiti in city laneways, vintage billboards and other weathered surfaces & is also inspired by my love of gestural abstraction and my obsession with using spray paint.

Insitu examples are not to scale.

The artwork is mixed media on canvas which was created by layers of paper and textured wallpaper, and has been painted black around the edges and is ready to hang.
