‘Wimmera Mallee Sunrise’ – is an abstract landscape painting that captures the feeling of watching the sunrise in the Wimmera Mallee, Victoria.

Made with spray paint, gold leaf and hand sewing I have recreated the feeling of stillness watching the sun rise over the golden flat land. Gold leaf has been placed at the horizon line to replicate the shine of first light.  The deckled paper edges compliment the artwork and I would recommend framing the work so you can still see the edges.
