Winter Floral is a tribute to the winter wildflowers, Acacia, Native daisies and Hardenbergia that decorate the central Victorian bushland in the winter months.
I paint on primed Dibond which has excellent archival properties. The painted border is an integrated part of the entire substrate (i.e. it’s not ‘separate’ ) creating a framed effect without the need for additional framing (although you are free to do so). The purpose of the border is to offer a window of aesthetic contemplation and a particular experience of perception.
