Womens Circles’ An abstract Figurative Painting by Marguerite Bonwick

A large abstract expressionist painting, where I just let go and allow the artwork to emerge and tell me a story. There is no pressure nor expectation of what it becomes… It’s a deep breath in and a long exhale. I really just let go and enjoy the evolution through the act of applying colour and of painting.

This abstract expressionist piece, ‘Womens Circles”, was created using my own technique of laying down colours and then using my gift of Pareidolia to find human formations within the seemingly abstract painting. I usually find figures in my work without trying. I think this is due to my interest in life drawing and the human form.

Womens Circles: The gathering of like minded women sharing wisdom and experiences within a safe sanctuary. I imagine it to be a place of community, healing and love.

This artwork would be an interesting addition to any room adding visual interest as well as being a thought provoking conversation piece.
